Arta Subagiarta is an accomplished medical professional with over nine years of experience in
pharmaceutical services, medical education, and digital health innovations. Currently serving as
the Global Medical Learning and Capabilities Development Lead for Specialty Care at Sanofi,
Arta brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. His career spans continents, with
impactful contributions across North America, Asia, and Africa. He began his career as a
medical doctor in emergency rooms, co-founded a multimillion-dollar healthcare startup, and
held research positions at academic institutions.
Arta's academic journey includes studies at renowned institutions like Harvard University, MIT,
Udayana University (Indonesia), Chulalongkorn University (Thailand), and Kobe W. University
(Japan). He completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Harvard Medical School, further
solidifying his expertise in medical innovation and education.
His notable accomplishments include 1st Winner of MIT Hacking Medicine: Innovation and
Global Health Systems, the Ambassador’s Award for Excellence, among others.
